There aren’t very many 8 inch Android tablets available however the ones that are, are very good and powerful devices that can serve you well on the go as well as at home or in the office. They are a bit larger than the 7 inch tablets giving you a bit more screen size so everything is a bit larger on display (the resolution of the screen can actually be the same as on the 7 inch models).
