Android tablets are being made by a number of manufacturers. Unlike the Apple iPad which is available in only one size they are available in many different screen sizes – you can check out how many there actually are at a separate post where we compared Android tablets with screen sizes from 7 to 10.1 inches – and these are not even all of them.
Screen size diversity is actually a fantastic feature of Android tablets. You can choose the tablet that fits your needs best. If you want a tablet to use mostly on the go to check your e-mail or read an e-book while traveling, you will most likely go for the 7 inch tablet because they are the smallest and the lightest. If you want a larger screen to do more stuff with your tablet (browsing websites, editing some documents etc.) a 10 inch screen will be better. There are also models with screen sizes between 7 and 10 inch and with different aspect ratios.
Screen size is not the only difference, what is important is also resolution of the screen. Again with Android tablets there are many variations of the resolution available within the screen size group. Generally the higher the resolution the better is the image on the screen but again it depends on your needs and preferences.
There is a lot of information about tablets with different screen sizes on this website so we encourage you to check it out. It will help you decide which tablet to go for when you will be buying one.
